Graduate School

About half of Caltech students go on to graduate school immediately after receiving their BS degree. (Actually, students graduating with degrees in physics, mathematics, biology, and chemistry pursue advanced degrees at a rate closer to 60 percent.)


2009 Graduating Class Profile

Graduate Student Tutorial Of the 219 students who graduated in 2009, 49% will enroll immediately into graduate school this fall. 
 

The majority attending graduate school in the fall of 2009 will pursue traditional degrees in aerospace engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, mechanical engineering, and physics.
