Profile
Zion is an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor at Caltech, where she serves as part of the Special Programs and Yield team. Zion was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California. During her time at USC, she was an intern in the Office of Admissions and Student Success, program director of a K–12 Neuroscience and STEM camp, and conducted Alzheimer's disease research in a neuroanatomy lab. She graduated with a degree in Neuroscience and has found ways to bridge her passion for STEM and research with her commitment to advocating for educational access.
Outside of work, Zion spends her free time continuing her work on a research paper on Alzheimer's disease progression and neuron morphology. She is a true beach bum and loves exploring different beaches from the Palisades to San Diego, binge-watching true-crime series, and finding all the coolest rooftop restaurants in LA.
